MHV Mowing – Service Agreement

Effective Date: May 1st, 2025

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is between MHV Mowing ("Contractor") and the individual or entity agreeing to services ("Client"). By booking or receiving services from MHV Mowing, the Client agrees to the terms below:

1. Services Provided MHV Mowing agrees to perform the following lawn care services as requested:

• Lawn mowing
  
  

• Trimming and edging
  
  

• Any additional services mutually agreed upon
  
  

2. Service Frequency Client may choose one of the following schedules:

• One-time
  
  

• Weekly
  
  

• Bi-weekly
  
  

• On-demand (based on availability)
  
  

3. Payment Terms

• All payments are due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Clients may choose to pay for multiple scheduled services in advance as a lump sum. If a lump sum payment is not arranged, payments must be made individually, either immediately before or after each service.

• Accepted payment methods: Cash, E-transfer, or Card (via Square).

• Late payments may be subject to a $5 late fee after 14 days.
  
  

4. Cancellation Policy

• Client must provide at least 12 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
  
  

• If less than 12 hours' notice is given, MHV Mowing reserves the right to charge up to 50% of the service fee.
  
  

5. Access Requirements 

• Client must ensure access to the property is available at the scheduled time (e.g., gates unlocked, pets secured). 

• Client must ensure no debris or obstructions are in the way of completing the service (e.g., animal waste, rocks, fallen trees).

• Failure to provide access may result in a missed appointment.

6. Liability Waiver MHV Mowing is not responsible for damage caused by:

• Hidden objects (e.g., rocks, toys, hoses)
  
  

• Pre-existing damage to turf, fences, or landscaping
  
  

• Acts of nature or events outside the Contractor's control
  
  

7. Satisfaction Guarantee If the Client is not satisfied with the service, they must notify MHV Mowing within 24 hours of completion. We will return to resolve reasonable issues within 14 days at no additional cost.

8. Agreement Duration & Termination This Agreement is ongoing unless terminated in writing by either party. Either party may terminate with at least 7 days’ notice.

By submitting the service agreement form, the Client acknowledges they have read and agree to these terms.
